SpaceX Will Test Starship Statistical Fire In Starbase

JAKARTA SpaceX, Elon Musk's private aerospace company, conducted the third test flight of the Starship rocket on Thursday, March 14. Now, SpaceX is preparing a fourth flight test.

This preparation was demonstrated by SpaceX through their social media accounts. The company said it had moved Starship to Starbase, the Starship rocket industry complex located in Texas.

"(rockets for) Starship 4 flights were moved to locations in Starbase for upcoming static fires," SpaceX wrote on platform X, formerly known as Twitter, some time ago.

Although the Starship rocket has been moved to the launch pad, SpaceX is still analyzing data from Starship's third flight. The company is also still investigating the accidents that occurred on previous flights.

Meanwhile, static fires were a pre-testing process before the Starship was launched. In this process, the engine will be turned on for a while to see if the engine is working well and if there is an error in the components.

If the pre-testing of static fires goes well, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) could grant launch permits. However, provided that SpaceX has completed an accident investigation on its third flight.

SpaceX plans to launch Starship in early May, but the company has not yet set a date. The company had said that the launch window would be determined after the FAA granted its flight license.
