ASUS ROG Phone 8 Series Officially Launched, Price Starting From IDR 10 Million

JAKARTA - The ASSUS Republic of Games (ROG) officially launched the latest ROG Phone 8 Series series designed with a thorough update of its previous ROG phone series, accompanied by AI-powered technology.

Compared to the previous generation, the design of the ROG Phone 8 is 15 percent leaner. With the rapid-cooling conductor in thermal Game Pool 8 on the phone, users can play games without overheating.

Having a 6.78-inch flexible AMOLED (Samsung E6) panel display, this phone is also equipped with a Snapdragon Platform Mobile processor 8 Gen 3, supported by LPDDR5X 8533 Mbps RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage.

Apart from gaming, the ROG Phone 8 Series also supports photographers and videographers with the latest 50 MP Sony image sensor main camera and 24mm wide-angle lens.

Meanwhile, this phone is also equipped with a Hybrid 6-Axis 3.0 Gymbal Stabilizer, which makes the video results smoother, and also a 3X telephoto lens equipped with a built-in OIS, for clear and sharp image results, even in low lighting conditions.

Moreover, ASUS HyperClarity technology using unprocessed files (RAW), displays every detail in the photo clearly, and provides clearer images even at zoom up to 30X.

The 13 MP ROG Phone 8 ultrawide camera is equipped with a free-form lens and the latest algorithm to reduce lens distortion. And the 32 MP front ultrawide selfie camera has a field of view (FoV) which is upgraded from 73$ to 90$.

The ROG Phone 8 Series is also equipped with four artificial intelligence features that can move the game to a background with Background Mode or capture key moments with X Capture. Moreover, an intuitive AI Grabet to capture text and X Sense can improve the gaming experience.

Other AI features include Semantic Search or semantic search in the use of phones, Wallpaper AI, and AI noise-reducing technologies in favor of two-way noise reduction.

The ROG Phone 8 Series is now present in two variants of the price ROG Phone 8 & ROG Phone 8 Pro. The first variant, with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, is available with storm gray and phantom black at an official price of IDR 10,999,000.

The ROG Phone 8 Pro variant has a larger RAM, namely 16GB, and 512GB storage, with a Phantom Black color, priced at IDR 14,999,000. In addition, there is the highest variant of ROG Phone 8 Pro Edition with 24GB RAM and 1 TB storage, already included AeroActive Cooler X for IDR 19,999,000.
