JAKARTA - Google launched several updates on Android Auto, by displaying status indicators on apps that can only be used when your car is parked.

Android Auto is equipped with many applications, ranging from the map or waze pointing application, entertainment applications such as discord, spotify, and GameSnack, meeting applications such as Google Meet, and many more.

However, as 9to5google found, Android Auto will now bring up a new icon, namely the letter P at the bottom right of the app, to notify users that the app only works when the car is parked.

One example of an application that now has a new P sign is GameSnacks, an app that has a collection of touchscreen games, aimed primarily at electric vehicles as a form of entertainment when the vehicle is charging.

Well, if you're using GameSnacks or other apps that have the same sign, you'll get a message of error stating that the vehicle should be parked.

This is a minor adjustment, and it is presented without any context. It appears to be widely available on Android Auto 11.4, as first discovered by Smart Droid.

This update is rolling out now, you may need to check the Play Store to find out the update.
