Persija Esports Presents MLBB Tournament In Ceremony: Persija Esports Championship 2024

JAKARTA - On Thursday, February 22 yesterday, Persija Esports officially announced its debut for the Mobile Legends division: Bang Bangnya which will take part in the MDL Season 9 competition on March 2.

Along with the disclosure of its MLBB roster, Persija Esports also launched a community tournament entitled Persija Esports Championship 2024.

Through this tournament, Persija Esports shows its commitment to contributing funds in the world of esports in Indonesia, especially for the sport Mobile Legends.

"Persija Esports Championship is one of Persija Esports' breakthroughs to become a forum for young Esports talents who want to realize their dream of becoming pro-players and Esports athletes," said Persija Esports CEO, Mr. Harlin E. Rahardjo at his press conference at the Persija Official Store in Jakarta.

Persija Esports Championship will immediately jump into the grass roots which will later win from Persija Esports Championship and will have the opportunity to become a pro-player under the flag of Persija Esports.

"Because the community is already big, so we want to provide a serial tournament. We also want to socialize esports, especially MLBB," added Harlin.

This event will last for 1 year which will be held in 6 cities, namely Jakarta, Bandung, Tangerang, Bekasi, and Depok with a total of 6 quaifiers 2 advance stages and 1 grand final.

The inaugural Persija Esports Championship will take place in the city of Jakarta on March 1 for online qualifiers and March 2-3 for offline qualifiers.

In the qualifiers stage, the teams competing will compete for a total prize of IDR 10,000,000 and they can also win prizes in the grand final stage with a total prize of IDR 100,000,000.
