East Ventures And Indonesian Chamber Of Commerce And Industry Launch ECOVISEA, Web-Based Greenhouse Gas Emission Calculator

JAKARTA - Continuing its commitment to net zero emissions targets, East Ventures and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Indonesia), launched ECOVISEA (Emission Calculator & Transportation Southeast Asia).

Collaborating with Indonesian citizens as a knowledge partner, ECOVISEA is a web-based global greenhouse gas emission calculator and can be used for free by companies to calculate and measure their environmental impacts.

"This initiative reflects our commitment through the Head of the Net Zero Hub to assist national companies in the transition to Net Zero Company," said Shinta W. Kamdani, Deputy Chairperson of the Coordinator for Maritime Affairs, Investment and Foreign Affairs of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in a statement received on Tuesday, February 6.

Both parties also agree that the calculation of emissions by companies related to the environmental impact they generate is a crucial and fundamental step.

"We believe that ECOVISEA will play an important role in allowing national companies collectively to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and achieve a Net Zero Emission by 2060," he added.

East Ventures partner Avina Sugiarto also revealed that this innovative platform can simplify the carbon calculation process that was previously carried out manually as well as empower the business world to get the visualization of their GRK emission source.

Companies can visit ecovisea.com to register an account. Once the company is verified and registered, users will be directed with step-by-step instructions to upload their data into the company's account dashboard.

Once the data is filled in, the company will get the results of real-time calculations or reports presented in data set and visualization formats, which include important information, including the amount of emissions with data details as well as time trend analysis.

In addition, the company can easily store drafts and update data at each stage of the process, so that users have the flexibility to make the necessary adjustments as needed.
