JAKARTA - Recently, documents on Google's plans to present some major changes to Bard AI were shared by one of the X users with the account name @evowizz.

In a note shared, it appears Google will change Bard's name to Gemini. However, there has been no direct confirmation from the company regarding the veracity of this information.

Google added a new changelog for Bard, and — oh boy — it's a big one!The availability in Canada is awesome! That said I don't really understand the limitations with the app. That's disappointing as someone who lives in Europe.Oh by the way... https://t.co/xM2snHVYJ9 is real. pic.twitter.com/QKgKrRjmM4

Furthermore, the document also states that Gemini Advanced will give users access to the Gemini Ultra 1.0 model, which is much more capable of performing very complex tasks such as encoding, logical reasoning, following different instructions, and creative collaboration.

It will be available in more than 150 countries and optimized for English at first. Changelog also said Gemini would expand to Canada with this release.

What's interesting about the document is that Google is also said to be planning to launch the Gemini app on smartphones.

Gemini is integrated with Google applications such as Gmail, Maps, and YouTube, making it easier for you to solve various things on your phone. You can interact with them via text, voice, or image," the document reads.

Later, the Gemini app will be rolled out on certain devices in English in the US. In the coming days, it will be available in Japanese, Korean, and English globally, except for the UK, Switzerland, European Economic Region countries, and related territories.

Google mentions that they will roll out the Gemini app to more areas in stages later.
