Meta Shares Four Achievements In The Fourth Quarter Of 2023

JAKARTA Meta, the parent company of the social media platform, shared four achievements on its various platforms and products. This achievement was achieved in the fourth quarter of last year.

Delivered by Meta through its official social media, the number of active users on the Threads platform has increased. By the end of last year, Threads active users had not reached 100 million, but now the number has been more than 100 million.

"Threads continues to grow with more than 130 million active users each month," Meta said on Friday, February 2. This achievement shows that Threads can still compete with platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

The next achievement of the platform that Meta supports is the increasing number of Reels usage. In the last quarter, the number of Reels shared by Facebook and Instagram users reached 3.5 billion.

According to Meta's confession, this number remains stable every day. In fact, this achievement is not surprising because the survey results of Morgan Stanley, a financial service provider, noted that 74 percent of Instagram users have taken advantage of the Reels feature.

Furthermore, an equally important achievement came from a Meta-made product, namely Meta Quest.Headsetreality virtual (VR) seems to get a lot of attention because Meta Quest, "is the first application to be downloaded on the App Store on Christmas Day."

Although this increase seems to satisfy Meta, the company did not mention the number of specific downloads on the App Store. They immediately discussed the next achievement coming from the Large Language Model Meta (LlaMa).

LlaMa is a sophisticated basic language model with open sources. Special technology for cocooly purposes has reached 120 million downloads and has more than 16,000 derivatives in the late quarter of last year.

Those are the four achievements that Meta made last year. The achievements of LlaMa, Reels, Meta Quest, and others show that Meta is still actively developing all their products.
