Microsoft Teams Stop Working For Several Hours

JAKARTA The Microsoft Teams cannot operate. Based on The Verge's findings, this application cannot be used for more than eight hours, causing harm to many parties.

Teams users complain on platform X saying they can't enter the app. Some users can open the app, but some messages in the app disappear and they fail to load messages on channels and chats on Friday, January 26.

In addition, Teams users cannot see and download the media in any format. They also can't download document attachments, send and receive read receipt notifications, and much more.

In a number of countries, this problem occurs during working hours so that the work of some users becomes disrupted. Therefore, it is not surprising that Microsoft social media accounts on platform X get a lot of criticism when Teams cannot be used.

When Teams were inaccessible, Microsoft said it was investigating the source of the problem that caused the software to shut down. They are also trying to fix the inconvenience.

Unfortunately, this repair process is going on for quite a while. After a few hours of repairing Teams, Microsoft said that, "We've completed a failover in the EMEA region and service telemetry showed some improvements."

In line with this statement, the Teams app is starting to resume operations. The percentage of problem spikes in DownDetector has also declined, proving that Microsoft managed to fix Teams and get rid of the source of the problem.

Even though the app can be reused, Microsoft is still optimizing the network and Teams systems. They said that, "We monitor positive internal telemetry signals to ensure that our mitigation reduces the impact on customers."
