IKN Nusantara Blueprints Published, Vexanium Supports Blockchain Technology Implementation

JAKARTA - The Indonesian government, in this case the Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) at the end of December 2023, has launched a blueprint for the smart capital city of Nusantara (IKN) located in North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan.

This blueprint is a comprehensive picture of the development of Indonesia's new capital city, with the aspirations of realizing a habitable city and a very good quality of life standard. This was positively welcomed by Vexanium as the Indonesian Blockchain, "We certainly really welcome this," said Danny Baskara, CEO & Founder of Vexanium in a written statement received by VOI recently.

In the IKN blueprint, blockchain is described as a technology that allows data storage and is distributed safely. The data is transparent according to the blockchain mechanism, which can be used to manage various urban aspects, ranging from public administration systems to city resource management.

In public administration, blockchain can simplify public service processes, such as property registration or business license issuance, is efficient and aims to prevent corruption. As for urban resource management, this technology can help track and manage energy or water resources, and also ensure more effective distribution and reduce waste.
