Chatbot Grok Suggests Dogecoin Become A Payment Tool On X

JAKARTA - Dogecoin (DOGE) is one of the cryptocurrencies that is popular among crypto enthusiasts. DOGE has the Shiba Inu dog logo, which was originally made a joke in 2013. However, since 2021, DOGE has experienced tremendous price increases thanks to support from Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk.

The Tesla boss often promotes DOGE on his personal Twitter/X account so that it also affects the meme coin price movement. Musk has even referred to DOGE as his " favorite cryptocurrency" and "people's currency". Musk also plans to send Dogecoin physically to the DOGE community-funded Moon by 2024.

Not only that, Musk also wants to integrate DOGE with his other businesses, including X (formerly Twitter), a social media platform acquired by Musk in November 2023. Musk hopes DOGE can be used as a means of payment and tips on X, as well as a means to interact with the large crypto community.

Well, DOGE is also a choice of chatbot Grok. The AI-based chatbot developed by xAI, Elon Musk's funded startup, suggests Dogecoin as the best transaction tool for use on social media platform X.

Grok argued that DOGE has several advantages over other cryptocurrencies. According to the chatbot, apart from DOGE being supported by Elon Musk, DOGE has a very active, loyal, and friendly community, which often shares memes, information, and suggestions about DOGE on social media, especially on Twitter and Reddit.

Grok also considered that DOGE has an advantage in transactions, namely fast and cheap. The chatbot assesses that this is suitable for daily transactions and online payments. In addition, DOGE also has great growth potential, because it still has room to increase adoption, development, and partnerships with various parties.

CryptoBasic, Grok also named Musk's tweet about DOGE as the best tweet on Twitter crypto. On January 14, 2024, Musk wrote "Dogecoin to the moon", with rocket emojis and the hashtag #DOGE. This tweet received a positive response from DOGE fans, and pushed DOGE prices up 15% in a day.

Grok said the tweet "confirms DOGE's position in the hearts of crypto enthusiasts everywhere", and demonstrates Musk's commitment to pushing DOGE into the world's major cryptocurrency.

With the support of the crypto community and leading figures such as Elon Musk, DOGE remains one of the largest and most popular cryptocurrencies today. According to data from CoinMarketCap, DOGE has a market capitalization of $11.6 billion or around Rp. 181.4 trillion.

DOGE ranks tenth among all cryptocurrencies. DOGE also has more than five million crypto wallet addresses that store DOGE. DOGE is currently trading in the range of $0.20 or around Rp. 3,127 per coin.
