Wi-Fi Alliance Improve Network Support Through Wi-Fi Certification 7 J

JAKARTA Wi-Fi Alliance increases network support by certifying new devices that support Wi-Fi 7. Wi-Fi performance is claimed to be better than Wi-Fi in the previous era, namely Wi-Fi 6E.

Based on capabilities that Wi-Fi Alliance details, this new network technology will bring some improvements such as performance at 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands, lower latency, more reliable networks, and innovation support with highthroughput.

In addition, this Wi-Fi 7 certification will carry several applications such as augmented reality, virtual, and extended reality (AR/VR/XR), more in-depth 3D training, as well as better video streaming with ultra-high definition (UHD).

Meanwhile, Wi-Fi Alliance CEO Kevin Robinson told The Verge that Wi-Fi 7 is the first generation for 6 Ghzband. Although this wireless spectrum is also used on Wi-Fi 6E, its frequency is much faster and wider.

Wi-Fi 7 will bring a number of advanced features for higher-throughput support. This feature includes channels widened to 320 Mhz, Multi-Link Operations (MLO), 4K QAM transmission, 512 Compressed Block Ack, and increased flexibility from RU to STA.

The Wi-Ficertified7 network supports advanced Wi-Fi performance for high bandwidth applications to ensure each connected device provides a reliable experience that users expect, explained Wi-Fi Alliance.

Prior to Wi-Fi Alliance, there were several computer network companies that had provided Wi-Fi support. Some of the companies are Nearger, TP-Link, and Eero. All three provide different certification coverage, but still increasing from Wi-Fi 6E.
