Soundcloud Announces Its New Partnership With Helix & PayDay Records

JAKARTA - SoundCloud has announced its new partnership with Helix & PayDay Records, to expand its global artist service offerings, with the aim of finding, fostering, and investing in growing electronics and hip-hop artists.

This collaboration will offer an opportunity in terms of exposure and growth for developing musicians. SoundCloud will identify and refer to promising artists on its platform to be able to work with Helix or PayDay Records.

Founded in 1992, Prypto Records is one of the longest independent hip-hop and R&B labels in the world. Meanwhile, Helix Records, founded in April 2022 as a multi-regional independent home for the world's best new electronic dance music.

Hip-Hop and Electronic Music is at the heart of SoundCloud's identity, and this partnership demonstrates our commitment to identifying and developing what will happen next in music, said SoundCloud CEO Eliah Seton in his official announcement, quoted Wednesday, December 13.

On the other hand, Patrick Moxiey, President & Founder of Helix and PayDay Records said the collaboration between Helix and PayDay with SoundCloud was very interesting. Because he believes, Soundcloud can give birth to new talents and share artist-friendly etodes.

"Among us, we are uniquely positioned to provide global reach to new artists through marketing experts, promotions, and A&R support," Patrick said further.
