Wants To Keep IMessage Users, Apple Admits It Has Blocked The Beeper Mini Application

JAKARTA - The Minicurrency app, iMessage for Android, is getting a number of problems that eliminate the function of the app. This problem is thought to have occurred due to Apple's actions.

Initially, Beeper could operate normally. This app even gets praise because Android users are really connected to iMessage Apple users. However, a few days after the release, the communication access was cut off.

Beeper believes that Apple has blocked its app and it turns out that this allegation is true. According to The Verge's report, Apple said that it deliberately blocked it in order to maintain security and privacy.

"We are taking steps to protect our users by blocking techniques that exploit fake credentials to gain access to iMessage," said Apple Senior PR Manager Nadine Haija.

According to Apple, the presence of applications such as Beeper has the potential to provide metadata exposure or provide information and description easily. Therefore, Apple needs to take firm steps by blocking Beeper.

Before Apple responded, Beeper CEO Eric Migicovsky said that the apps he started developed were safe to use. Apple is even accused of obstructing iPhone users from using safe RCS services.

If Apple really cares about the privacy and security of their iPhone users, why did they stop the service that allows users to now send encrypted messages to Android users? Migicovsky said.
