JAKARTA - Apple is rumored to be making significant changes to the iPad next year as an effort to tackle the decline in sales that has occurred. The report states that the US technology company will make an update to the iPad. This change is claimed, making it faster and sharper than ever before.

The new type of iPad Air will come in two sizes for the first time, while the Pro model will be equipped with an OLED display and a faster M3 processor, which is also found in the MacBook Pro.

The company has faced a few-quarter decline in iPad sales, as inflation increases and high lending costs force consumers to limit non-essential purchases. In addition, consumers are starting to feel bored with less attractive updates every year.

Apple projected its holiday quarter sales under Wall Street forecast last month due to weak demand for iPads and wearable products. Meanwhile, its Mac business is also facing a wider decline in the private computer market.

A report from Bloomberg News states that the new iPad is expected to be launched around the end of March, and the company is also working on a re-version of Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard accessories for the Pro model of the device.

The addition of the OLED screen will make the iPad sharper, brighter, and can reproduce color more accurately, as mentioned in the report. This is the same screen introduced to Apple's iPhone X in 2017.

Users can choose between 11 inches or 13 inches of tablets, which will be the largest version to date. The report also speculates that users can see an updated Magic Keyboard turning the iPad into a laptop, with a greater possibility of increasing trackpads.
