Approaching New Investors, SpaceX Valuation Could Increase to IDR 2.7 Quadrillion

JAKARTA – SpaceX, Elon Musk's commercial space company, has reportedly approached new investors with an unspecified tender. This tender will benefit the company.

From the Bloomberg report, the company's valuation or value could increase to US 175 billion (IDR 2.7 quadrillion) or even more than that. Reportedly, the value of this company could reach a higher figure because the tender has not yet been completed.

Meanwhile, Reuters said that SpaceX's current valuation is around US 150 billion (IDR 2.3 quadrillion). SpaceX is a commercial space company with the highest valuation in the world.

With SpaceX's high potential, many people predict that SpaceX's valuation will soar high. Billionaire investor in SpaceX, Ron Baron, estimates that the value of this company will reach 500 billion US dollars (IDR 7.7 quadrillion) in 2030.

In line with its increasing valuation, the company's projects also continue to be improved. SpaceX is actively continuing to launch Starlink satellites to its constellation in Low Earth Orbit (LEO).

Even though SpaceX failed to launch its Starship rocket twice this year, many companies still rely on launching their satellites with rockets made by SpaceX such as the Falcon family.

This December, SpaceX officially collaborated with Capella Space and Amazon to launch the Acadia and Kuiper satellites. SpaceX also actively collaborates with United States Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Chinese space companies, and many more.
