Apple Developer Academy Graduates Nearly 400 Students In 2023

JAKARTA Nearly 400 students graduated from the Apple Developer Academy Indonesia on Wednesday, December 6. These students are part of an academy in Jakarta, Surabaya, and Batam.

Apple says that all students in their academy have undergone 10 months of training to learn the basic programming. They also learn some professional competencies such as design and marketing.

"Apple is very proud to be able to help empower the growing community of application developers in Indonesia," said Apple's Vice President Worldwide Developer Relations Susan fire in a statement received by VOI.

Susan added that graduates in the age range of 18 to 43 years have successfully graduated after designing applications to support various sectors, ranging from health to entrepreneurship.

Apple said it was proud that several students in the 2023 class participated in Apple's annual competition, Swift Student Challenge, which was held in the middle of this year. A total of 51 students from Indonesia managed to become winners.

In addition to the success at the Swift Student Challenge event, Apple is also showing off applications that have been created by its students. A total of three teams have made applications such as Paths to search for the nearest mosque, HerLens to help interpret the results of servical Screeningkers, and LYFY as a means of interaction for business people and potential buyers.

So far, Apple Developer Academy has coached more than 2,000 developers in Indonesia and continues to partner with universities such as BINUS Jakarta University, Ciputra Surabayar University, and Infinite Learning Batam
