Google will add some updates to the Recorder or Recording app on the phones they produce. Reportedly, this update was only added to the Pixel 8 series.

Quoting from 9to5google, Recording apps will get three changes. Some of the updates added are Artificial Intelligence Summary (AI), Favorite Recording, and Audio Channels.

So far, Google has updated their logaplication to add a favorite record sign and add a new feature in the form of audio signal capture via the Audio Channel.

Through our favorite record sign, we can mark the recording we want to listen to again. This feature is also very useful if Pixel 8 and 8 Pro users often use Record.

When Record Users have tagged their favorite recordings, the app will display the top toolbar with the Favorite title. When the tool is clicked, we can see a number of marked recordings.

Meanwhile, the Audio Channel has been updated since mid-month ago. Through this feature, users can set the audio capabilities received by the application via Settings.

Users can see the Audio Channel option in the top three series. When the menu is tapped, users can choose the capabilities of Mono and Stereo by adjusting the situation.

If the user is recording audio in a room with a large speaker, Mono's ability can be selected. On the other hand, if the audio received The recording comes from various speakers, the user can choose Stereo.

The last update that is actually the most anticipated is the AI Summary. This feature can automatically detect the language you receive and copy it in transcript form.

To activate the transcript and get the right summary results, users must ensure that the language used in Settings is in accordance with the language received by the audio. Unfortunately, this feature will only be released in December.

The English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and French versions are automatically generated by the AI. So there may still be inaccuracies in translating, please always see Indonesian as our main language. (system supported by DigitalSiber.id)
