The American House Of Representatives Gives Aid Funds For Israel's Iron Dome And David Sling

JAKARTA - Republicans at the United States House of Representatives (DPR) have detailed aid funds for Israel's defense system, including management funds for Iron Dome and David Sling.

Details of these funds are a direct request from US President Joe Biden. The country's leader has promised to provide funds to Israel amounting to 14.3 billion US dollars (Rp227 trillion).

In details of the funds, Iron Dome and David Sling will receive funds of 4.4 billion (IDR 69 trillion). Republicans also added 1.2 billion (IDR 19 trillion) to the development of Iron Beam, laser-based air defense.

Iron Dome is Rafael Advanced Defense Systems' air defense system used to destroy rocket attacks, while David Sling is a missile system to bring down rocket attacks.

Quoting from The national news, this funding proposal will use the financing of the Biden Inflation Reduction Act. This was applied to separate Israel's aid from the help of Ukraine and Taiwan.

The three of them remain Biden's focus for now. According to him, these three countries need wider emergency funds to maintain national security.

Although Biden strongly supports Israel with its special funding, the US government is starting to realize the urgency of Gaza's situation. This is because Israel has carried out bombings for three consecutive weeks.
