JAKARTA - In July, Blizzard Entertainment announced that Overwatch 2 will be on Steam, and confirmed that this will be the first of several Blizzard titles to make the leap.

During Diablo 4 Developer Update stream, Blizzard Entertainment announced that the RPG action of Diabo 4 will be launched to Steam on October 17.

Diablo 4 was first launched for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Battle.net on June 6. In its launch on Steam, Blizzard hopes to get a better welcome for Diablo 4 on Steam than the previous game.

In his announcement at the time, Blizzard appointed the launch of Steam Diablo 4 to coincide with the start of Season 2, which is called Season of Blood.

Diablo 4 is Blizzard's fastest-selling game of all time with more than 10 million players and a revenue of 666 million US dollars (Rp) in just five sales days.

Its launch in June even pushed Blizzard's finances to record levels. But since then interest has dropped dramatically, with a series of renewal errors from Blizzard and a lack of endgame content adding to the impression that Diablo 4 is in trouble.

Blizzard hopes Steam launches as well as Season 2 launches give Diablo 4 a much-needed push as he works on an annual expansion, two of which are confirmed to be under development.

Diablo 4 is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC (via Battle.net).
