MR Meta Quest 3 Headset Ready To Release On October 10, Prices Start Seven Million!

JAKARTA - During its annual event, Connect 2023, Meta revealed a lot of announcements. One of them is the launch of the mixed reality headset (MR), Meta Quest 3.

The tech giant owned by Mark Zuckerberg announced that Meta Quest 3 will launch on October 10, and pre-orders have opened now.

The world's first mass market mixed reality headset will be priced starting at $499.99 (Rp7.7 million) for versions 128GB and US$649.99 (Rp10 million) for a larger storage capacity of 512GB.

This virtual reality headset presents immersive experiences such as virtual reality, as well as providing physical world experiences.

"We believe you don't have to choose between the two. That's why Meta Quest 3 presents a mixed reality breakthrough that allows the experience spectrum," the company wrote in its announcement.

To make a smooth transition between truly immersive experiences and mixed environments with virtual elements propagated in the physical environment, you only need to double-tapping the Meta Quest 3 headset.

With twice the graphics processing power of Quest 2, Quest 3 is the world's first device to feature a new Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 platform developed through collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies.

With this Snapdragon XR Gen 2, the loading time becomes faster, and the details in the immersive game become sharper than the previous device.

Quest 3 is equipped with a 4K+ Infinite screen that is almost 30 percent higher in resolution than Meta Quest 2. In addition, the next generation of pancake lens optical stack gives Quest 3 a 40 percent slimmer optical profile than Quest 2 without reducing the depth of your visual immersion.
