JAKARTA - Not long ago Meta launched the video messaging feature on WhatsApp widely. Now, the company seems to be fine-tuning it by bringing a new settings button.

First reported by WABetainfo, the button to manage this feature is now available for some users of the latest version of WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS directly from the application settings.

If you have seen the video message feature on your WhatsApp, you will know that this feature will be activated by default on WhatsApp, by just clicking a button to record a voice note (voice message).

Well, with this new button, users now have control over the video messaging feature, and you can disable it if you want.

The button to manage the instant video messaging feature is now available to some beta testers who installed the latest updates to WhatsApp beta for Android from the Google Play Store and WhatsApp beta for iOS from the TestFlight app, and it may roll out to more people in the future.

Previously, WhatsApp was also testing a multi-account feature which would allow users to add more than one WhatsApp account in the same application.

If you pay attention, this feature is similar to what you usually find on social media such as X, Facebook and Instagram. Where, you can log in with another account in one application.

It was also noted that conversations and notifications between accounts will be separate. So, you no longer need to download regular WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business or use more than one cellphone if you want to have two accounts with different numbers at once.
