"PlayStation Portal is the perfect device for gamers at home where they may need to share their living room TV or just want to play PS5 games in another room at home," wrote Hideaki Nishino, Senior Vice President, Platform Experience, SIE in its official announcement.

This PlayStation Portal will later connect remotely to your PS5 via Wi-Fi, so you can quickly move from playing on your PS5 to your PlayStation Portal.

In addition, on this PlayStation Portal, you can play a supported game installed on your PS5 console and use the Dualsense controller.

"This also includes a 3.5mm audio jack for cable audio. PS VR2 games, which require headsets, and games streamed via PlayStation Plus Premium cloud streaming, are not supported," Hideaki added.

The PlayStation Portal is planned to launch later this year at a price of 199.99/29,980 YEN, equivalent to IDR 3.04 million. "We will soon have more details when pre-orders start for the PlayStation Portal," Sony concluded.
