Billionaire Mike Novogratz Sees A Worldcoin Altcoin Price Rise Opportunity In AI Hype Cycle

JAKARTA - Billionaire Mike Novogratz, a prominent figure in the crypto industry, expressed his confidence in the rising price potential of Worldcoin (WLD), a privacy-focused artificial intelligence-based altcoin created by Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI.

In a recent report from Bloomberg, Novogratz stated that he believes Worldcoin has the potential to increase in price due to the ongoing hype in the artificial intelligence sector. He also paid tribute to Sam Altman, and mentioned that betting against Altman at this time might not be a wise move.

Currently, Worldcoin is trading at $2.30 and has seen a 6% drop in the last 24 hours. This altcoin is attracting attention because it uses iris scanning technology for user security and privacy.

Apart from that, Novogratz also commended the efforts of BlackRock CEO, Larry Fink, in creating a Bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded fund. According to him, this step is the "most important" thing that happened to his flagship digital asset this year.

Fink has changed his view of Bitcoin, from initial skepticism to seeing it as an "international asset". BlackRock's efforts to create a BTC (Exchange-Traded Bitcoin) ETF are seen as a potential trigger to attract a new wave of investment into the top crypto markets by market cap.

"He has taken the 'orange-pill', as we say. The orange pill is when you turn a non-believer into a believer in Bitcoin. Larry was one of the first skeptics, but he has now stated that Bitcoin can become a global currency that is trusted by people around the world."

BlackRock's quest to create a BTC ETF allows investors to gain exposure to Bitcoin without directly owning the crypto asset.
