JAKARTA - Currently, the Spotify music streaming platform has allowed you to be able to download songs, albums and playlists offline, easily in the application.

Now, the company is announcing that it is piloting a new feature called "Your Offline Mix" that will save a mix of songs you just played.

"We've tested a new feature called "Your Offline Mix", a playlist designed for times when you may not be online. How do you think?" Spotify CEO Daniel Ek said on Twitter.

It looks like Spotify's new feature will be similar to the Offline Mixtape YouTube feature which was released in 2019. Where, YouTube will select some of your favorite songs and make sure they are available to you anywhere.

Unfortunately, this feature is still in the trial phase and it's not clear when it will be publicly available, but according to Engadget, some users on Twitter have seen the features in their app.

Plus, the screenshot uploaded by Ek about the Mixini Offline feature looks to have a duration of three and a half hours, so it can be said that this Offline Mix can accommodate many songs later.
