PancakeSwap Launches Pancake Protectors Blockchain Game, Offers 10,000 CAKE Prizes

JAKARTA The leading decentralized crypto exchange platform (DEX) PancakeSwap launched the Pancake Protectors blockchain game. The Pancake Protectors game will be integrated with CAKE tokens.

Interestingly, PancakeSwap offered a prize of 10,000 CAKEs for the Play-to-Earn (P2E) game player. The players who will get the prize in the form of CAKE tokens are those who occupy the top position in the ranking of the game. This information was conveyed by PancakeSwap on May 29 yesterday.

Pancake Protectors, a Tower Defense (TD)-based strategic game, promises a different gaming experience from most P2E games. In this game, players can use CAKE tokens to get NFT characters with added benefits, such as increasing buying and selling skills and better attributes.

Players can also open levels, Battle Pass, and Privilege Cards using CAKE, as well as buy in-game currency and other packages. Exclusive prizes of up to 10,000 CAKEs will be offered during the first season to the top 1,000 players, with the first winner potentially winning 1,000 CAKEs.

Even so, it is not yet known whether this Pancake Protectors will get success such as Axie Infinity or Plant vs Undead. At the time of writing, the CAKE token is trading at IDR 26,000. In the last 24 hours, the performance of the CAKE price has decreased by 1.2 percent based on Coingecko data.
