JAKARTA - Some time ago, the Association of Indonesian Internet Network Service Providers (APJII) recently released the results of a survey entitled "User Profile & Internet Trend Indonesia 2023".

The report states that the current level of internet penetration in Indonesia has touched 78.19 percent or 215,626,156 people, out of a total population of 275,773,901 people in Indonesia.

The increase in the number of internet penetration in 2023 has increased by 1.17 percent compared to 2022, which is 210,026,769 people, or 77.02 percent.

Of this number, the male gender community contributed 51.19 percent to the use of the internet in Indonesia, while women contributed 48 percent.

Furthermore, the APJII report also revealed that people aged 35-54 years are the people who use the internet the most.
