JAKARTA - Microsoft's Bing search engine is rarely chosen by Android users because Google Search is easier to use. However, the market will change soon.

Samsung has considered using Bing as the default search engine on its phone, replacing Google's longtime partner.

Microsoft has indeed overhauled Bing in recent months, embedding OpenAI's ChatGPT power. No doubt, Samsung is quite interested in embedding Bing into its cellphone products.

However, it is not known for sure whether that's the reason Samsung has for leaving Google. Because this report causes internal panic on Google.

Obviously, if Google feels threatened, it's because Google generates around $3 billion per year from Samsung's partnership.

As a result, Google is in a hurry to re-enhancing the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The company is recently known to be upgrading its search engine with the AI feature under a project called Magi.

Also present are GIFI and Tivoli Tutor tools which are a pair of other experimental features, where users can ask Google Image Search to produce images and communicate with chatbots to learn new languages.

According to sources familiar with the project, about 160 employees were fully employed by Google for the Magi project, as quoted from various sources, Tuesday, April 18.

"We are very pleased to bring a new AI-backed feature to Search, and will soon share more details," said a Google spokesperson.
