Yaris Facelift's New Look Appears In Thailand

JAKARTA - Recently, Toyota launched a new face from the Yaris model, Yaris facelift in Thailand. Unlike the other Toyota variant, which is already named "All New", Yaris facelift still maintains the TNGA basis, which is not yet using a platform from Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNGA) such as his brother, All New Toyota Vios.

Reporting from Carscoops, Tuesday, March 14, Yaris facelift has been updated with the design of the shark's head. Looking at the exterior, equipped with the front LED lights with L-shaped DRL eyebrows are made slimmer, which is reminiscent of the previous generation of Prius. The car also has a large grip and intake water on the near-bemper part where the design is made more sustainable.

The front bumper is also made more sport by adding a body kit such as a fin. There is also a spoiler on the back of the car and a bottom diffuser that makes this car look aggressive.

Moving to the interior, Toyota embeds a 9-inch touchscreen that can connect with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The safety features on Yaris facelift are Pre-Collition System, Lane Departure Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Monitoring, and 7 airbags are provided to improve safety.

The machine that Toyota Yaris brings is a facelift like other standard Yaris. Keep the 1,200 cc gasoline 4-cylinder fuel engine paired with CVT automatic transmission which can generate 91 dk of power and 109 Nm of torque.

Reportedly, Yaris facelift is set at a price starting from 559,000 Baht or around Rp248 million.
