JAKARTA - Interactive Paradox Publishers have announced that a sequel to the city development game Cities: Skylines will launch in 2023 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game will also hit Xbox Game Pass.

Titled Cities: Skyines 2, the game will in some of its game stores reveal that the game will focus on offering a living economy where players' decision-making skills will be challenged.

Cities: Skylines 2 will also offer a number of options for players to build their cities, from small, old neighborhoods to busy metropolitan cities with skyscrapers. At the very least, Cities: Skyines 2 is set to be the famous visual improvement of Cities: the first Skylines.

Although publishers and developers have released announcement trailers for Cities: Skyines II, unfortunately, the trailer does not show any gameplay at all.

The trailer only focuses on the option of building a magnificent city, as well as several small things such as having to regulate traffic on land.

Even so, they have provided a lot of information to the players. What is clear is that the Interactive Paradox has confirmed that this game will launch in 2023, although it does not yet have a definite release date.

In fact, a game with the theme of urban development like this is not the first time. In the 2020s, there was a similar game that was very booming from Electronic Arts entitled SimCity 4.

Even so, Cities: Skyines itself is also a city building game that many players have chosen, after the latest edition of SimCity failed to satisfy fan expectations.
