Although there is no definite clarity regarding the AI development on YouTube, Mohan said that his team is currently taking the time to develop the technology.
"We are taking the time to develop this feature with a careful guardrail. Follow its development in the coming months as we launch tools for creators and protection to use this technology responsibly."
Unlike Bard, YouTube doesn't seem in a hurry to officially announce the upcoming AI technology, and Mohan insists that he wants the site to take the time and make sure it has the right approach.
In addition, Mohan also mentioned several other changes that will come this year, namely launching a new creation tool that allows creators to record Shorts videos in a side-by-side layout with Shorts and YouTube videos so that they can easily add their own trends or join reactions.
