The website of the President of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) turns out to be the presidentri.go.id, not the president.go.id, whose authenticity was stated directly by the Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media, the Presidential Secretariat, Bey

In his statement, Bey said that the site that is usually used to upload all activities of Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is the presidentri.go.id.

He regretted the news that stated that the actual site was the president.go.id, and did not confirm the justification first to him.

"We deeply regret news like this that there is no confirmation to us, even though the official address is presidentri.go.id," Bey said as quoted by Antara News, Thursday, November 24.

To be more convincing, VOI tried to visit the presidential.go.id website, seen there the last upload showing Iriana Jokowi making a working visit to South Sumatra Province and various other agendas.

Previously, cybersecurity expert Pratama Persadha stated that the presidential.go.id website he knew was the official website of the President of the Republic of Indonesia that could not be accessed starting Wednesday, at 19.15 WIB.

Pratama stated that the reason the site could not be accessed was not because it was hacked, but had not paid the domain. This can be seen from the information when he tried to open the presidential official website.

"Of course this is a very embarrassing thing and should not happen. An official website of the president that should be monitored, checked and carried out maintenance or posted until he forgot to extend his domain subscription," said Pratama in an official statement received by VOI.

When VOI tried to access the presidential.go.id website, there was an announcement that the page could not be accessed because it had not paid the rent.

"PLEASE RETURN AT ANOTHER TIME. Sorry, the site you are trying to access is currently not available because it is in the process of completing the payment for the domain name rental. If you are a visitor to this site, please contact the domain manager of this site," wrote the announcement of the presidential website.go.id.

"If you are the domain manager of this site, please click here to make an invoice request," he added.

It also says the WhatsApp contact number on behalf of PANDI for further information, and the Ministry of Communication and Information's WhatsApp contact for administrative completion.
