Already Achieved 40,000, Tesla Supercharger Becomes The World's Largest DC Fast Charging Network

JAKARTA - The most popular electric car brand, Tesla confirmed that it now has 40,000 Supercharger networks worldwide.

This Supercharger network is an important part of Tesla. With so many numbers, this certainly makes Tesla the largest global DC fast charging network.

"40,000 Supercharger networks around the world, and are still counting," Elon Musk's electric car brand wrote on its official Twitter on Wednesday, November 23.

When they first entered their business, summarized from Electrek, the company thought that if they wanted to be successful, they could not rely on third parties to develop this charging infrastructure.

Therefore, Tesla invests in building its own DC fast charging network, the Supercharger network. Now, 10 years later, the Tesla Supercharger network is the largest and best DC fast charging network in the world.

The 40,000 Superchargers are located in more than 4,000 different locations on the planet. Network growth is also accelerating with Tesla adding more than 10,000 Superchargers this year.

In fact, now Tesla is widening its Supercharger network for all electric vehicles (EVs) other than the Tesla model.

Tesla started gradually, and now the company has opened hundreds of non-Tesla Supercharger stations in 15 parts across Europe, and is preparing to do the same in North America.
