Bribes, First Countries Relicating In Metaverse Due To Climate Change

JAKARTA A small country in the Pacific Ocean, paling, announced on Tuesday November 15 that its government plans to build a digital version of the country, which replicates islands and landmarks and preserves its history and culture. This was done during rising sea levels that threatened to sink the small island nation in the Pacific.

The Foreign Minister, Simon Kofe, told the COP27 climate summit that it was time to look at alternative solutions to his country's survival and this includes fighting to become the first digital country in the metaverse, an online world that uses augmented reality and virtual reality (VR) to help users interact.

"Our land, our oceans, our culture are the most valuable assets of our people and to keep them safe from danger, whatever happens in the physical world, we will move them to the cloud," he said in a video showing Kofe standing on a digital replica of a small island at risk due to rising sea levels.

Kofe drew global attention to COP26 last year when he made a speech at a conference while standing knee-high at sea to describe how fighting was at the forefront of climate change.

"Tuvulu must act because countries globally do not have enough to prevent climate change," he said.

This is a country with nine islands and a population of 12,000 people located between Australia and Hawaii. The country, has long been a major victim of the risk of climate change and rising sea levels.

Currently 40% of the capitalipelago is underwater, when the tide is high, and the entire country is expected to be submerged in water by the end of this century.

Kofe said he hoped the formation of a digital nation would allow men to continue to function as a country even if they were completely submerged.

This is important because the government is starting efforts to ensure that it continues to be recognized internationally as a country and its maritime boundaries, and the resources in these waters, are maintained even if the islands are submerged.

Kofe said seven governments had agreed to a continuous confession but there was a challenge if my side fell because this was a new international jurisdiction.
