Minister Of Communication And Information: Digital Transformation Expo Becomes The First Digital Transformation Exhibition In The History Of The G20 Forum

BALI- For the first time in the history of the G20 Forum, the G20 presidency of the Republic of Indonesia held a Digital Transformation Expo (DTE), as an exhibition for digital transformation.

"As a sign of multi-party collaboration, the Digital Transformation Expo recognizes the valuable contribution of all G20 member countries, 39 Indonesian ministries and institutions, as well as 42 industrial representatives, as well as symbolize the spirit of digital transformation in harmony," said Minister of Communication and Information Johnny G Plate, quoting from there Kominfo, Monday, November 14.

Johnny also emphasized that the presence of DTE is not only a place to exchange knowledge for G20 member countries, but also as an immersive technology presentation that will make all parties more confident in efforts to digitize G20 member countries.

Therefore, the Minister of Communication and Information invites all parties to use DTE as a milestone for digital warnings. As well as strengthening collaboration to advance, an inclusive, empowering, and sustainable digital economy is still ongoing.

He claimed that the DTE initiated by the G20 Indonesia Presidency was a golden opportunity for Indonesia to share stories with the world about various national potentials and accelerate digital progress in various sectors.

"DTE is an opportunity to show the world that Indonesia is not only ready for a strong recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic," Johnny explained further.

Through the G20 DTE, the Minister of Communication and Information hopes that it will be the peak of the journey of the first forum for the Digital Economy Working Group (DEWG)

The Digital Transformation Expo will last for four days, from November 13 to 17, 2022, at Pecatu Hall, BNDCC, Nusa Dua, Bali. There, visitors can see six areas that represent an overview of the issue of digital transformation as a priority issue of the Indonesian G20 Presidency.
