JAKARTA - Canoo, a high-tech mobility company announced the construction of its new battery module manufacturing facility at MidAmerica Industrial Park in Oklahoma.
This new facility will certainly expand the manufacturing footprint and work opportunities of Canoo in the area. The facility will be able to generate a battery module production capacity of around 3200 MWh.

quila added that the selected location was very strategic because it was close to the Panasonic battery cell partner and Canoo's future Mega-Micro factory.
"We will work with and employ the surrounding community to create an EV Ecosystem in the region," he explained.
Canoo previously announced Panasonic as a provider of battery cells. This location will produce an exclusive battery module on a high-capacity assembly line with advanced automatic engines.
Canoo has perfected and validated the creation of its battery modules over the past few months and is awaiting engine deliveries at new facilities.
The Canoo battery campus will implement a labor training program in its partnership with Cherokee Nation, MidAmerica and other local training partners.
The goal is to provide a light blue collar job with a high salary to the local community.
