Data Says Real Becomes An App With A Consistent Increase In Downloads

JAKARTA - Sensory Data Tower Store Intelligence reveals that BeReal's social media app has reached more than 53 million downloads on the Play Store and App Store as a whole.

Although BeReal is a new app launched in 2019, this year, BeReal is an app that experienced a surge in adoption, with installing consistently increasing every month during 2022.

Sensor Tower revealed, in September, the app saw around 14.7 million installs, which was up 20 percent from 12.3 million in August.

Since March, the United States has become the country with the most BeReal installations every month, followed by the United Kingdom in second place.

However, data found that this order changed in September, where Brazil took over the UK as the second largest BeReal market.

Furthermore, data from Power User Curve Sensor Tower Consumer Intelligence reveals that about 9 percent of the worldwide BeReal Android app installers open daily applications in Q3 2022.

Previously, Sensor Tower reported that Instagram leads the category with 39 percent of app installers opening Instagram every day, while TikTok occupies second place with 29 percent.

However, it seems that BeReal may have the opportunity to increase the percentage of strong users he has in the future, seeing the number of increases in downloads that continue to advance each month.
