Not Only Twitter, The Popular Application, BeReal Claims To Have Fixed Bugs on Its Platform

JAKARTA - Not only Twitter that experienced a bug recently, Gen Z's favorite social application, BeReal also experienced the same thing on Wednesday, September 21 yesterday.

The news was buzzing on Twitter, when many users complained of bugs in the app using the hashtag #BeRealDown.

The bug makes it difficult for users to post content. The news was later acknowledged by the company with a short tweet containing "yup, we're on it" or "yup, we're doing it" aimed at the outage.

Then, after TechCrunch tried to confirm what was the reason behind the bug, the company refused to answer.

Fortunately, after a few hours of experiencing the bug, BeReal returned to Twitter and confirmed that the issue was resolved "all good now".

This popular application that was just launched last year seems to be quite stealing the attention, especially for some of its rival application developers.

Examples are the company Meta for Instagram and ByteDance TikTok. Both of these companies have new features that are similar to those in BeReal.

TikTok has just experimented with a new feature called TikTok Now, which will invite you and your friends to capture what you're doing right now using your device's front and back cameras.

Meanwhile, Instagram is reportedly working on a new feature called Candid Challenge. Based on what Alessandro Paluzzi found, Instagram users who participate in these Candid Challenges will see notifications at different times each day to take photos of their surroundings.

Despite having strong competitiveness, until now BeReal has reportedly not found a way to monetize its content.
