JAKARTA - The latest game Assassin's Creed has become the talk of the town in 2022. In July, Ubisoft had said that the future of the Assassin's Creed brand would come in September.

And now, it seems the rumors are clearer now. Developer Ubisoft recently took to Twitter and confirmed that the next generation of Assassin's Creed will be titled "Assassin's Creed Mirage".

At this time, Ubisoft does not provide any further information except as noted above. However, the studio confirmed that the full reveal for the title will come at the Ubisoft Forward event, which will take place on September 10 at 9PM CEST or on September 11 at 2AM CEST.

"Assassin's Creed Mirage is the next Assassin's Creed game. We can't wait to tell you more on September 10 at Ubisoft Forward: 9PM CEST | 12.00 PT," Ubisoft wrote on Twitter.

Ubisoft has also shared the game's key art, which appears to confirm some of the key details that were leaked, such as the game being set in Baghdad.

As per a report from GamingBolt, Assassin's Creed Mirage will star in a younger version of Assassin's Creed Valhalla's Basim as its protagonist.

The game is also supposedly a smaller title that focuses more on stealth. Based on the rumors at the time, Assassin's Creed Mirage was expected to be out in Spring 2023.
