JAKARTA - THQ Nordic publishers announced that their new game entitled 'Alone in the Dark' will soon be coming to PlayStation 5. Alone in the Dark is a survival horror genre game that was popular in 1992.
This remake, developed by Developers Pieces Interactive, will set the standard for more immersive survival horror games.
"Developers Pieces Interactive is a mix of new talent and seasoned veteran developers," said Liz Pieri, THQ Nordic Marketing in North America in a statement.
Alone in the Dark features familiar faces and places from the original '90s trilogy, but a completely original story and terrifying new monsters.

According to the publisher, the same as before, in this remake will be set in the 1920s in the city of New Orleans. The publisher also promises a completely original story, combining characters, places, and themes from the original trilogy.
In his statement, Pieri also revealed that the interesting story of the Alone in the Dark remake was created by Mikael Hedberg, author of the cult horror SOMA and Amnesia: The Dark Descent.
Meanwhile, other collaborators who contributed monster designs in the game were Guillermo del Toro and Guy Davis.
