"Hopefully this year the regulations can be issued, Kominfo is ready with the regulations, Dukcapil is also with its network, we will see the entire system readiness," added Ketut Prihadi.

Prepaid registration currently only includes KTP and KK, but when you use Biometrics later, the methods include facial recognition, fingerprints and IRISH.

"Later, they can't use KTP and KK, so the operator only has to choose which method to use, facial recognition, fingerprint or irish," added Ketut Prihadi.

Ketut Prihadi also assured that with this method, operators could no longer make excuses like the Ilham Bintang case, but they had to be responsible for the validity of their customer data.
