Rockstar Games Determined, GTA 6 Will Be Their Benchmark Of Creativity Than Previous Games

JAKARTA - The next Grand Theft Auto (GTA) project was announced for the first time last February. At the time, Rockstar said that the unnamed game was in development and was doing very well.

During a financial update, as quoted from PC Gamer, Take-Two CEO, Strauss Zelnick said that GTA 6 is the benchmark for creativity in their gaming and entertainment industry.

In addition, Zelnick also revealed that Rockstar Games is currently very determined to push the game further than any other game in its history.

"With development on the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series well underway, the Rockstar Games team is determined to once again set the creative benchmark for the series, our industry and for all entertainment, as the label has done with each of their frontline releases," said Zelnick.

Apart from stating that the developer is doing well, neither the publisher nor the developer has made any concrete announcements about the upcoming GTA 6 project. However, some rumors have been circulating about some details of the game.

According to a note from GamingBolt, GTA 6 will reportedly feature four different protagonists, and take place in three different cities. However, those plans changed, and another rumor said that the game would only feature two protagonists, one of whom was a female character.

GTA games from Rockstar never disappoint. Until now, GTA still attracts many players. Even GTA V is currently rumored to have sold more than 170 million copies. Which, when compared, has increased to 10 million copies since the beginning of 2022.
