JAKARTA - Spotify announced that it is launching a new Home view that includes feeds for "Music" and "Podcasts & Shows" this week.

For now, the new Feed will be rolling out only to Spotify users on Android, but the music streaming platform says iOS users will also get the feature soon.

"By creating this feed, Spotify will help listeners easily search for the type of content they are looking for at that time," he said in the announcement.

So, when Spotify users launch their app, they will see two feeds at the top of the home screen.

Spotify says that the new interface will create a more personalized experience while making it easier for users to find the content they want.

In the Music feed, you'll have quick access to suggestions based on their musical tastes, as well as album and playlist recommendations and buttons that make it easy to share, like, and play music instantly.

Whereas in the Podcasts & Shows feed, you can jump straight to the latest episode of your favorite shows. Just like the Music feed, you'll find personalized podcast recommendations.

"What's more, listeners will be able to read episode descriptions, save to your Episodes, or start playing podcasts without leaving the page, so all experiences start from one place."

"Spotify's Home is the go-to place to find new recommendations and revisit the latest favorites," the announcement reads.

With the upcoming update to Home, Spotify hopes that users will find a gateway to great content that they will love.
