Microsoft Prepares To Launch The Latest Windows In 2024, It WIll Be Windows 12?

JAKARTA - Microsoft is rumored to be adopting an OS release cycle every three years after the company changed the cycle at the launch of Windows 10 in 2015.

Given that Windows 11 is launching in 2021, Microsoft is likely to launch its latest version of Windows in 2024. However, it is not yet known whether it will be Windows 12 or the latest version of Windows 11.

At the same time, discovered by Windows Center, the tech giant will also increase the launch of new features for Windows users on the market. Starting with Windows 11 22H2 codenamed Sun Valley 2.

One of its features is named "Moment", which allows users to use many features without the need for a major update. With this "Moment", users can also get rid of the weather button on the taskbar in Windows 11.

In addition, Microsoft is also reportedly working on the next update codenamed Sun Valley 3 which was supposed to be released in 2023, but had to be delayed until 2024.

Furthermore, Windows Central estimates that there will be at least four moment updates every year starting next year.

This means that, Windows 11 features users will continue to be served with updates by Microsoft in the future.

This new way of updating Windows will allow users to gain access to new features more quickly, without having to wait for the next major OS version. While at the same time, it allows developers more time to test it for issues before release.
