JAKARTA - According to reports, the Facebook app for smart TVs may no longer be available for Apple TV. Facebook on this smart TV allows you to share videos, shows and live streams.
Based on 9to5Mac's findings, some users say they can no longer access it, after updating.
MacRumors shared a thread on its forum page about users complaining that they can no longer use the Facebook app on their Apple TV.
"Facebook updated the Facebook viewing application on Apple TV 4K with a new logo. But the text is no longer available," wrote the user with the account name Firefighter2021.
Apparently, the malfunction of Facebook on Apple TV has caused the disappointment of many users. Responding to complaints from Firefighter2021, an account named Tamago also feels the same way.

"Same experience here. It's absurd that no warning was given and it was withdrawn. It doesn't make sense for Facebook to remove a popular way of watching videos as well," he replied.
Facebook first launched its video viewing capabilities on Apple TV back in 2017, after previously rolling out for Samsung smart TVs.
Perhaps, Apple TV users will still be able to watch Facebook videos on their televisions by casting videos from their phones, but of course this isn't as easy as opening the app directly on the TV.
To date, The Verge still has not received a response from Apple and Facebook regarding this issue.
