JAKARTA - During Dragon's Dogma's 10th anniversary celebration broadcast on Thursday, June 16, director Hideaki Itsuno announced that a sequel to Dragon's Dogma dadi was in development.

During the event, Itsuno was also seen remembering how his early high-fantasy experiences led to his love of RPGs as a whole.

It's also what brought him all his time working on arcade titles for Capcom throughout the '90s. In 2000, Itsuno began building his own fantasy world, which would eventually become what we now know as Dragon's Dogma.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, Dragon's Dogma is currently under development," Itsuno said in the broadcast.

Itsuno added that the entire team is working hard with Dragon's Dogma II, and he hopes you'll enjoy the game when it launches.

No game details were revealed during the broadcast, Capcom only revealed a short teaser of the game's logo. In a follow-up statement, Capcom said that Dragon's Dogma II will start a new cycle and confirmed using the RE Engine.

Stay tuned for more revelations about Dragon's Dogma II in the future.
