JAKARTA - Not only did they reveal the second title of the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy, at the same event, Square Enix revealed that Crisis Core - Final Fantasy Reunion is coming to consoles and PCs soon.

Crisis Core - Final Fantasy Reunion is a remaster of the Final Fantasy VII prequel, which previously received critical acclaim.

"This new game is a full remaster of the PlayStation Portable's exclusive Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII, which originally launched in 2007," Square Enix wrote in an announcement on its website.

This remaster of the Final Fantasy VII prequel will see Zack Fair's mission to find the missing SOLDIER Genesis Rhapsodos.

The game will also feature some improvements from the original game such as the graphics have been converted to HD, and all the 3D models of the characters are upgraded.

"What's more, the dialogue is now fully voiced, and there are new arrangements for the soundtrack," the company continued.

Square Enix also confirmed that you don't need to play Final Fantasy VII or Final Fantasy VII Remake first, as Crisis Core will be a standalone adventure.

Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII Reunion will release for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Steam, and Nintendo Switch this winter.
