JAKARTA - According to a presentation Sony gave at a business briefing held on Thursday, May 26, Sony plans to release nearly half of its games for PC and mobile by 2025.

The presentation also featured a chart showing game releases on mobile and PC in 2025 increasing when compared to 2022.

In 2022, the distribution of game releases is divided into four platforms, namely the PS5, PS4 + PS5, PC, Mobile platforms. While in 2025, Sony will focus on releasing on PS5, Mobile, and PC only.

“By expanding to PC and mobile, and it must be said, also to live services, we have the opportunity to move from being present in a very narrow segment of the overall gaming software market, to being present almost everywhere,” said president of Sony Interactive. Sony's presentation shows that the company has reaped the benefits of bringing titles like Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone, and God of War to PC.
