JAKARTA - In 2020, Ubisoft announced that they were working on a new VR game for the Assassin's Creed and Splinter Cell franchises for Meta devices (known as Oculus).

Assassin's Creed is a stealth and action adventure video game series created by Patrice Désilets, Jade Raymond and Corey May, later developed and published by Ubisoft using the game engine Anvil.

However, since its announcement at that time, Ubisoft has not provided further details about the project. In a leaked report published in Exputer, Ubisoft's Tom Henderson series stated that Assassin's Creed Nexus will bring back several protagonists from the entire series titled Assassin's Creed Nexus.

The new leak also details exclusive VR title battles, stealth, missions, and more. The game is expected to be out within 12 months. The game will feature several historical settings (which explain all of the different protagonists), similar to the upcoming Assassin's Creed Infinity.

The game will reportedly have a total of 16 missions, which will also include tutorials, missions involving combat, stealth, pickpocketing, climbing, and more.

As per the leak, Assassin's Creed Nexus isn't the only new game the series will be getting in the near future as it's reported. A small-scale stealth-focused installment called Assassin's Creed Rift is also expected to launch in the first half of 2023.

Most recently, Assassin's Creed held the Ostara Festival which is running until next May 12. There will be an exclusive reward for you if you take the challenge.
