JAKARTA - This time, the DDoS attack targeted Among Us. Players were reportedly unable to connect to the most popular game server during the COVID-19 pandemic on March 24.

But not long ago, Among Us' developers, Innersloth, required them to create an offline server to deal with the problem as a result of a DDoS attack.

Quoting the Kaspersky page, Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) is often referred to as a Distributed attack. This type of attack takes advantage of special capacity limits that apply to any network resource, such as the infrastructure that enables corporate websites.

Through the Among Us Twitter account, they also tweeted, "we experienced sabotage lol." Innersloth has managed to restore some servers, but the situation doesn't seem to be completely resolved by still stating “Among Us servers are down” in its profile.

Cited from PC Gamer, Monday, March 28, not wanting this attack to be more dangerous, Innersloth immediately shut down servers in North America and Europe while working to fix the problem.
