JAKARTA - Microsoft rolled out an Xbox dashboard update this March, which will include advanced speed improvements, a remapping of Xbox share buttons as well as a new audio wizard.

This Xbox update includes the ability to pin games to Quick Resume, so Xbox Series S/X owners around the world, can ensure two games never leave the Quick Resume feature.

Embedded games will only disappear from Quick Resume, if they are manually deleted or if there is an update to the game.

Quick Resume can support multiple games, and usually, games only lose the ability to resume instantly when you've launched more than 10 games. This can vary depending on how big each game is.

Microsoft is also making it easier to customize the “Share” button on Xbox Series S/X controllers. The Xbox Share button was previously restricted to just making screenshots or game clips. But now you can map them to many Xbox features, including controlling TV volume, accessing search, or enabling Night Mode.

Microsoft has been testing this change for the past month, and the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller, Xbox Adaptive Controller, and several other devices also have some new actions that the update supports as well.

You can remap the Share button within the Xbox accessory app. A new controller firmware update is also released with this Xbox dashboard update and includes performance improvements and fixes.

Lastly, the Xbox dashboard now has a new audio setup wizard for HDMI devices. This lets you test whether the HDMI audio format is working correctly with the A/V setting. A new audio setup wizard is available on Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X consoles.
